Elliott E. Wersing

Elliott graduated from Western Carolina University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Emergency Management. While at WCU, Mr. Wersing was awarded the Outstanding Student Award for the College of Applied Sciences, and the WCU Emergency Management Distinguished Service Award.
Mr. Wersing graduated from John Marshall Law School with a Juris Doctor degree in 2012, and was admitted to the Bar the same year. While in law school, Mr. Wersing served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable Sarah Zabel of the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida, and served as Editor of the Law Review. He was also a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, the Property Law Society, and Student Bar Association. Mr. Wersing practices civil litigation, with a focus on insurance coverage issues, insurance defense and workers’ compensation defense.
Mr. Wersing enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and pursuing his passion, which is outdoor adventure. He is an accomplished long-distance cyclist and hiker, and has bicycled across the United States via the TransAmerica & Western Express Routes, as well as completed thru-hikes of both the Appalachian Trail and Pacific Crest Trail.
