Michael F. Antonowich

Michael F. Antonowich received his Bachelor
of Arts from Denison University in 1980. In 1986
he received his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest
University School of Law where he was a member
of the Editorial Board of the Law Review. As a
founding partner at Hamilton, Westby, Antonowich
& Anderson, Mr. Antonowich’s practice
has been concentrated in defending employers,
insurers, self-insured employers and servicing
agents in workers’ compensation litigation
throughout the State of Georgia.
In addition to speaking regularly at numerous
seminars, Mr. Antonowich was published in the
1994 Annual Survey of Georgia Law, Mercer Law
Review and has been lead counsel in landmark cases
such as: Columbus Intermediate
Care Homes v. Johnston, 196 Ga. App. 516,
396 S.E. 2d 268 (1990); Leon
Dawson/Crawford Forest Products v. Walker,
192 Ga. App. 887, 386 S.E. 2d 690 (1989); and,
Mech. Maint., Inc. v Yarbrough,
264 Ga. App. 181, 590 S.E. 2d 148 (2003).
Mr. Antonowich is a native New Yorker and die-hard
New York Giants and New York Yankees fan. He has
been fortunate enough to travel extensively and has incorporated his experiences into his passion, which is cooking. He has
practiced in Atlanta since his admission to the
bar and is devoted to his wife and children.
